Default Question about Polyurathane motor mounts..

I am thinking about getting jimfab's torque mount polyurathane replacements. BUt I only want to replace the fronts with the poly's.. i'm gonna leave the rear one rubber.. has anyone tried this? Will I have more vibration with just the front two or less? Any other implications? TIA.

The rear mount is going to be the one that helps out the most, since it absorbs much of the tq when shifting.
Some people do only the front ones though to help reduce vibration. I myself have the Energy Suspension front and rear inserts and vibration isn't near as bad as some people make it out to be.

Thanks for your input. Anyone else? I would like to hear some reviews from people who only have the fronts done with polyurathane with stock rubber for the rear mount. I definitely dont wanna do the rear.. too lazy

I had just the front mounts in my 5th gen b20/vtack swap. It was good for daily driving w/ minimal vibration. I started drag racing a lot & then put in the rear inserts.... yea... this was noticeably better... esp on launch.

Vibration in my dash @ idle occurred w/ the rear insert. Not @ any other RPM. Hmmm. I solved this vibration by setting my idle to 1100 rpms

No problems since & that mo fo launched well... for a street car.

Good info.. so for daily driving I guess the just the two fronts help but is it worth getting if I'm only gonna do the fronts?

Yes... engine shifting during shifting or cornering sux. If you dont want to pay 30 bux... then buy 6 bux worth of bondo, take out your lower mounts... & fill them up.
