I didnt notice this before but im assuming it happend with the previous owner (cuz the car was lowered before i bought it) but while i was doing my oil change today I noticed my header was scraped and bent in a little... (I should have taken a pic but my hands were greasy, didnt wanna touch my g2 ) but my question is, will this affect performance or anything at all?

 

obviously it effects flow.

it's repairable though.

I wouldn't worry about it unless there are holes in it.

 

if its bent in, like a dent and blocks the flow of ur exhaust then ya you will lose performance. guy must of bottomed out.
