Impressions = ACT 6-Puck Clutch Kit with Extreme Plate
I'm thinking about buying the ACT 6-Puck Clutch Kit with Extreme Plate from modacar.com for $439.00. My eventual goal is to be putting down a little under 300 whp and Im wondering if this clutch will cover that range. Let me know what you guys think about the kit and the price. Im open to suggestions too but please dont just give me a name, tell me why and where I can find them. TIA.
Its not a street clutch, i have it, and its got some chatter. But for your range, it will be great. The best part is being able to chirp every gear, the bad part is that everytime u move from a stop u need to lightly do so, otherwise u get spin.

I think that is a bit extreme for a street car. ACT says for track use only, find something a lil more toned down.
I suggest the Cluthnet 6-puck sprung hub disc with double diaphram p.p if you want a good 6-puck with more streetability.
I have it and love it - much easier on the tranny than the non-sprung hub ACT.

ANyone know if I can safely use a 6 puck sprung disc (not necassrily act) with my ACT extreme pp? As for the setup in question, could u use it on the street...yes, would you....prob not if you knew how it was prior to your purchase. I guess theres some people willign to sacrfice, but IMHO, had i known, i wouldnt have used the unsprung disc.
Tom do you have a supplier for this Double Diaphram setup? Price range? I'm sure you post this in another thread but not sure what to search for. Thanks!
