Default replaced clutch, now rpm drops 3-500 when clutch engaged?

just put an 88 si clutch pressure plate and flywheel in my 88 crx hf, cause the old clutch was chattering bad and I had the 88 si sitting around in perfect shape. now when I push the clutch in it drops the rpms 3-500 for some reason(500 was cold), are the throwout bearings not interchangeable? this sucks, don't wanna spend the evening pulling it back out. at least I ahve a lift. btw it drives fine down the road. just don't want it to self destruct something. brand new oil in the engine and trans.

broken throwout bearing. one side of the spring was off and the ear fell off in my hand. not sure how it happened as I never touched it at all. oh well. fixed now.
