Ok, well i finsihed the mpfi swapo last week. It started fine the past 4 days, with the odd having to try twice before it went.
Now it doesnt do anythign but crank. I do notice something and it bugs me. When i put the key in and turn it to on, i crank it, doesnt start BUT when i take the key out, the battery light and oil light still are on, but very faint. I actually have to keep turning the key on/off till ti goes away. anyone?

 

alright, first of all i'd check to see if you're throwing any codes.
If not take out the spark plugs and put them against ground while cranking to see if you're getting spark to all 4.
If you are getting spark to all 4 and not throwing any codes, check to make sure you still have fuel going in, make sure the injector wires aren't loose and that the resistor box is getting power

about the lights staying on after taking out the key, I'd have to guess your ignition stich is going bad, this is kinda like the problem I was having, sometimes my radio would stay on, dashlights would stay on... and i'd find my battery dead in the morning. If you do need any help with changing this let me know, i just did mine a month or so ago

 

ok, battery is fine. testing each spark plug, they are all giving a spark. so now i test the fuel injecters.

i put some gas antifreeze. Its been sitting for a long time so there could be water in the lines frozen?

 

ok i just dont get it!! One night it styarts fine, next it wont. no cel light on ecu, no engine light. although i do smell a lot of gas inside the car. I just dont know what to do! when i turn the car to the on postion i hear the fuel pump come on. it has spark. could my timing be off that bad? and not cause it to start>
