let me the the first to say: do a search!

hehe...always wanted to say that!

but really, just from everything ive read:
JDM 4-1 for mild - basic setups
Toda for built if you dont want to wait on a custom one
or if you can wait either sms or hytech custom are going to be the best, sepcially made for your car..
hope that helps

Welp, you've got 2 categories. You can either go with the USDM collector size or JDM (2.5) collector size. If you want real performance go with the JDM size. Also, if you want good low/mid range (4-2-1) or if you want it all to be peak then get a (4-1).

Going with the JDM 2.5" collector size will also have to be followed up by a 2.5" cat or straightpipe. And as for the best bang for your buck, the DC Sports JDM 4-1 is the best bang, but if you get the JDM Honda header you can sport a stealthy heat shield!

Besides, what car do you drive.

This guy could be sportin a 1979 CVCC or something.

i would go with the jdm 4-1 header. oem fit, doesnt hang too low, and strong as chit. yeah, its a bit more than the dc jdm 4-1 but keep in mind it hangs lower and its not as strong

According to the Great Header Test and all the analysis afterwards the DC JDM 4-1 is THE bang for the buck, not the JDM OEM 4-1, finishing ONLY behind the Toda and Spoon below 7000rpm's.

Yes, I know. It hangs low, lower than the oil pan. Not nearly as big an issue as I thought it was going to be. Unless your car is severely dropped, I'd say you have nothing to worry about with the DC JDM 4-1.

Here's some data showing its bang for the buck-ness:

A more objective review would be more helpful.

If you are going to do Toda B's like i am i would recommend for u to just get the SMSP H/C/E. You have to wait a while and it is expensive but boy is it worth it. So I hear.

Best bang for the buck! = JDM type r 4-1 or JDM DC 4-1

If money wasn't an object then Hytech all the way!
