adjusting the drivers door??

Default adjusting the drivers door??

well as some of you know my R has a couple nice dents on the drivers side door. i was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the door so that i seals better. during hard rain the car leaks like crazy. im sure there is a way to do this, just not sure how. thanks

From what I just read in the Helm manual, you can adjust the door IN and OUT by loosening the door mounting bolts, and you can adjust the door foward/backward up/down by loosening the hinge mounting bolts. Unfortunatly I do not have scaning material to show you the graphics.

BTW you can also adjust the door catch In/Out up/down by loosening its mounting bolts

my leak seems to be a result of the same problem.. i need to adjust it in i believe..

anyone have any more info on this?

When your car's leak due to the door, where does the water collct at?
mine collects in the floorboards on the driver's side.. which means I go through a lengthy drying process to stop mildewing everytime there is a hard rain..

Does it collect under the driver's seat and the passenger foot rest area?

Are you sure the gaskets/ door seals are in good condition? Make sure that they are not torn or unclipped first before you go and start unbolting things

i know that my gaskets arent in the best shape, but i wanted to try something for the meantime
