Default b18c1 to b20

I was wondering what I had to do to switch from my GSR motor to a b20 motor I have all the wiring there and it is OBD2. Can I use the GSR ecu and plug this into the b20? I will be running nitrous on the b20.

Why are you wanting to downgrade from a B18C1 to a B20? Are you planning on using just the B20 short block with your GSR head for a CRVTEC? I would stick with the B18C1 over a CRVTEC and definitely over a regular B20. If you want to run nitrous or whatever, why not build your block using lower comp. pistons. You can even have it resleeved to get the bore of a B20.

Now don't get me wrong. Even a non-VTEC B20 is a GREAT motor. But it is NO B18C!

I was leaning towards a CRVTEC and he thing that got me was the torque. Or lack there of in my motor. Through looking at the guys from b20vtec.com the dyno plots that they are showing are ridiculous. 150 lbs./ft of tourqueall they way to redline. That is the onl reason I might readily make the switch. PLease give me your input thanks

Well if you do get rid of the 1.8, give me a holler. One man's trash is another man's treasure
