ok so a while back i changed my tb due to it was sticking..anyways since ive had this new tb my cruise control doesnt work anymore..it just doesnt catch after i press the button. this has baffled me for the longest time and i really want my cruise control back damnit! anyone got a clue? TIA

 

what tb did you get?

 

I am sure you checked the cruise cable to make sure that it is not stuck etc.

Also check all the vaccum ports in the boost chamber. Not to mention all the vaccum lines associated w/the cruise control.

Did you replace the plenum too, or just TB?

 

its a tb off a f22b2...and yes ive checked everything...this is why its pissing me off.

 

make sure the throttle cables dont have too much slack.

does your light come on, and not work? or no light and no workie?

check fuses

im selling my cruise control if yours ends up being broken
