Default tires for 99 coupe

I am looking for new wheels for my 99 coupe and i dont really know which tires will fit without rubbing or any other problems. I found a Tire/Wheel package I like and it comes with either (195/50/16) or (225/50/16) tires. My question is which of these will fit my car best without rubbing or any other problems
-Thanks in advance-

I'm using 205/50/15's and they slightly rub (Azenis), I think the 225's would rub for sure on your car.

The answer to your question is, neither. Both of those tire sizes are incorrect for your vehicle. The overall diameter of each of those is to large. If you are going with a 16" wheel make sure you stick to a 205/45/16. This will keep your rolling diameter the same. Also, look at the width and offset of the wheel. You don't want to go any wider than 7" and stick with a 40 or higher offset. This way even when your car is slammed it won't rub.

205/45/16 s would be the better fit there with a 40 offset ..this was on my 98 coupe

im planning on getting the Pro-N1 Black Racing wheels(in Black)

and they do come with 205/45/16 also, so this would be my best choice right?

Correct, 204/45r16. I'm running a set of yokohama avids in 205/45r16. Not bad, but I'll probably get some falkens next time.
