OBD1 question (CEL jumper)
Ok I've searched just need to know if this is correct. I'm making my OBD0
OBD1 harness in my spare time. Yeah, yeah, yeah I could buy one but I like the challenge. Well its almost done, just was wondering about the CEL jumper I connect pin C4 to B20 and then D22 to C14 those are the 2 I jump to check the codes correct?? Do I just run a toggel of these 2 and when off there open and when on there jump and will flash. Correct incorrect?? Also I need a few pins for the OBD1 harness think about 5 or 6 should cover me to be safe. If you can help with that also let me know. I feel like a noob asking these questions, heck I'm not even going to use the harness (I think)

Are you using storminmatt's guide? I did, and when I made my conversion harness it was easy to check the codes. You simply jump the service connector in the engine bay with a wire, and it'll flash the codes.
You have a 88-89 right?? Is this the same jumper that you use when you set the timing?? BTW this is the one I'm using http://www.geocities.com/kurtsi_on/. Think storminmatt copy and pasted it on a post I seen a while back
Ok thanks always wondered about that and I know I heard someplace needed a toggle switch to activate it..... So Just connect everything plug it in and wire the Diz. Are there any other problems you've had. I may use it later on down the road never can tell, like I said I like the challenge. BTW I found a OBD0 harness and took the pins out of it for my missing ones looks like it should work, cross your fingers of course

for example, the hasport diagram shows B11(obd1 plug) goes to C1(obd0 plug)...and on that geocities site, it says, B11(obd1 plug) goes to B10(obd0 plug).
I would just like to know, which diagram can I rely on?

But on this wiring diagram the guy also says the on the Diz wiring that he did it the easiest way of matching colors thats more then likly why the pins are in different places because the wiring colors dont go together on the Diz because c11 is a CYP sensor and thats in the Diz. I think that hasport is going by sensors only and not by color also meaning when you rewire you diz you have to figure out what color goes where. I think storminmatt has the right idea on just matching colors no guess work here
