Default '95 JDM Integra 1.8vtec (Si/SiR) => 16" or 17" wheels?

1st, I couldnt search as the search function seems to have been disabled.

Im currently looking for a '95 JDM Integra Si or SiR (Im in Ireland, so dont go into models or where I can get etc, its totally different over here.)

What Im wondering is:

Currently I have 16" OZ Superleggeras on my Civic hatch (Euro 1.4 model unfortunately-gotta start somewhere), and I got only 16" and a lightweight wheel because I didnt want to screw acceleration or take from the "chuckability" /nimbleness of the hatch.

What Im wondering is, if I want the same sort of handling-i.e. nimble, with the Integra, should I stick with 16's or would 17's be better considering its a bigger sized and bigger engined/powered car??

I will be getting the same wheels again either way because they are very light and incredibly strong which is important given the state of Irish roads.

I will be lowering the car probably 2.5" @Front & 2.25" @Rear using Koni True Coilovers(any comments for/against these on the Teg would be appreciated too).

Most people on this board (including myself) prefer 16's on integra's over 17's. Integra's have a lot more power than a civic but they still don't have a lot of torque so bigger wheels are often noticeable. If you really want to get 17's, go for it. I don't think it will be a big difference in acceleration or handling. (As long as they are pretty light) But the 16's will be slightly quicker, look better (IMO), cost less when replacing tires, and offer you slightly more tire sidewall for rim protection and interior comfort.

Go with OEM JDM 16" wheels... they're awesome. Wait, won't fit your lug.

Yup, well the OZ Superleggera's are quite light, in 18" they weigh the same as most 16" wheels, in 17" lighter than most 15".

If theres extra tyre-i.e. if i have a 205-45 tyre on them, then the diameter overall will be the same, but would the extra tyre on a 16" be lighter than the extra weight incurred by 17's??

I currently run 195-45 tyres in order to keep the rolling radius down due to the Civic only being a 1.4 (tho it did put out 105bhp on the rolling road!).

But I was thinking that a 205 tyre would be ok cos the Teg has more power, and also would provide more grip.
