Best way to adjust perch or Koni Yellows?
My rear is too low, causing my Tanabe pipe to rattle on my sway bar. I need to raise it up. After I take the rear struts out and take the springs off, what's the best way to move the rear perch up to the top setting on my Koni yellows without breaking anything?
I believe when I adjusted mine I used a specific "c-clip tool". Although, it was in my dad's toolbox, and he has a habit of making stuff custom if he needs it, so I don't know if such a thing exists.
Basically it was like a set of pliers that open up when you squeeze them instead of closing, and it had little flat thin tips that you could get into the little groove between the two sections of the c-clip and squeeze it out just enough to pop it out of the groove and up onto the shock body.
Hope my description makes sense... you might try looking at an auto-parts store or a tool store to see if they have something like that.
