I recently dealt with Turbo R for ITR rods with 22,000 miles on it. After i sent out a payment with his name on the money order, he said he would send out my part when i show him the pics of the money order with his name on it. After i did all that he said he was going to send me my ITR rods. its been like 3 days and i havent got any responds from him at all. i left him emails and PM on honda-tech but yet still no returns. I really hope he sent it out already and forgot to tell me but i hope im not getting scammed. if you are reading this Turbo R i havent said that you are scamming me but i just hope that you arent. Please return my email or lmk anything at all. thanks

 

Only 3 days? Give him at least a week+ before you even think he is a scammer.

 

shipping a part before he gets payment is not a smart idea even if you did send a pic.


He probable just changed his mind and is going to wait till he jets the MO.

I would not start to worry so soon.

3 days without one email back. come on you guys mean you tell me that you guys dont check your email everyday? i would if i know that i was suppose to be getting something or giving someone up. if he email me back then yeah thats cool... but no emails no PM no nothing. and if he did change his mind then why dont he just email me and tell me. it isnt hard. its just the fact that there is no contact for no reason. just worry

he's in virginia beach in VA. yeah true not everyone lives on the Net but before he responds to me in less than i day. and right after i sent it to him he stop responding to me. like come on if it was like that before then i dont have an excuse but this is different. he still havent respond to me. i spend a total of 130 thats buying the money order. but all in all i hope he already sent it out and just forgot to tell me. im just hoping for the best. thanks for being here guys

 

seriously, you need to realize what you say when you (almost) accuse someone of scamming you because you haven't heard from them in 3 days. maybe his isp is dead or a family emergency came out and he had to go out of town for a couple of days. just take it easy. i agree thay you need to wait at least 5-7 days with no contact at all before you can even start to get worried. then wait another week to post on the board. my .02

 

i never had this happen to me before. i just think he would of let me know but yeah ok ill wait. ill see how long it takes him to send out my rods. he knows whats whats going on. he know how important it is for me to get these rods. if someone gave you their word in sending it out when he says something then shouldnt he do it. i just think if he wasnt going to do it then he shouldnt of said it. When someone tells you something you would hope that they keep their word.

If he does send it out then i will say im sorry. i have nothing against that. I just want him to do what he said he would. thats all.

i know turbo R. i haven't talked to him lately, but he has the rods and I'm sure he will send them to you. He might have to take them to a machine shop to get the pistons pressed off them, but i wouldn't worry.

 

like i said before i will wait. and if he does send out the part then i will be happy to say im Sorry to everyone here. If i am wrong then i wont do him wrong. ill be more then happy to tell people that i made a mistake on my behalf of my own doing. So if Turbo R is doing what he is suppose to then Im Sorry for this Post Turbo R. dont mean to hurt your name. but i just dont want to get scam thats all.

damn...haha...a friend just IMed me this thread. Dude be patient. Its the weekend and i havent gone on my computer till today. I sent you an IM on HT today when it popped up. Ive just been real busy and havent had time to even get the Rods pressed off the Pistons. Stay calm. I will take care of everything tomorrow and ill will IM you the tracking. If this is the same TurboR I delt with he took me for 2K plus sold me a piece of crap motor that was most likely stolen(vin filed off) and a str intake manifold. His real name is SHERBAZ MANN and he used to be in FL.
If this is the same person PLEASE give me his address. I've been looking for him for awhile now.

I doubt this is the same "turboR" you got scammed from. Did a lil research... both names are turboR but one is turboR and the other is turbo R. I doubt TurboR would change his name to Turbo R to try to trick people he have scammed in the past.. Why would you use a name that is so close to your old name if its tainted? Although there are many similarties to this case and wicked sol's, ie.. the fact that he's easy to deal with and responds quick before the sale and is less pleasent and does not repond after payment has beeen sent.. i doubt anyone would be that dumb to change your name from turboR to turbo R to fool past victims.. but then again that's just my opnion..

 

well i doubt it is too. i dont know yet. i cant tell you if it is him but i doubt it.

I never ship stuff until i get the money order...

Just relax, I would get upset if someone called me a scammer from a situation like this.
