Hey all, I was thinking about picking up a set of Bilstein shocks for my gsr and was wondering if any of you have had any first hand experience. I am lookin for a pretty firm ride but don't want to shell out the cash for a full coil over system. (saving for lsd tranny w/4.785fd

bilsteins, = pricey. Many like koni's. Are you lowering it? The koni's have an adjustable perch so you can go lower if desired.
Also don't think the bilsteins are adjustable. Big benefit of the koni's and others.

If you want the "sporty" Bilsteins, then you'll need to change out your rear lca's. The Bilstein SP model is only compatible with the TypeR rear lca.
There's a great Koni vs. Bilstein SP discussion in the Tech forum. Basically the Koni Yellows are a little better, plus you get adjustability with them.

I run bilistein shocks on my car, but they are threaded shocks. I got them from neuspeed for 800$ they were 1600 for the set. They work very good I would probably rebuild them before I bought different ones. Either way you go if its bilistein or koni you will be getting good stuff. My car is pretty stiff without any other suspension upgrades.
