Misfiring after changing spark plugs and wires...
I have a 99 GSR and I just changed out my plugs and wires to some NGK's. The car runs fine now, but it's still throwing me CEL codes 72, 74. What are other common causes of cylinder misfire? Anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Also, when I changed out my plugs I noticed one of the spark plugs was kind of white-ish...so does that mean my car is running lean? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Yea, Like james said, check the order,
A buddy of mine was dumb enough to take all 8 wires off at once on his Explorer.. well it took a while to get that straight....

According to Mr Helms....72 and 74 are cyls 2 & 4, respectively. Probable causes are fuel injector, FI circuit, injection system, low compression, valve clearance, MAP sensor, IAC valve, bad fuel, contaminated fuel. If you need the page scan, let me know...
