opinions and info on building an all motor b18c5
i'm looking into swapping an arrrrrrrrrr motor into an ef hatchback and was wondering what kind of set-ups can be the most beneficial...i'm looking to drag race the car and that's it, no autocross or anything of that nature...i was aiming to put around 225 to the ground, is this an unreasonable goal?? any ideas of good setups to go with are greatly appreciated, and please, no flamers, i do own a mitsu, so my knowledge is somewhat limited on hondas. thanks in advance guys,
chris
p.s.: this will be an n/a motor

Hey, VA BEach!!
Anyways, don't get the R engine if you're going to do a full buildup, as you'll be replacing the parts that make it an R engine in the first place. Get a GSR.

GSR or build up a LS/VTEC, both will be cheaper than the R motor. If you want it for dragging why not chop up your engine bay and stick a H22A in there?
i'm pretty much set on the r motor for the fact that i always wanted an actual type r, but can't really afford one, so any suggestions on building the arrrrr? i dont plan to do a full buildup per se, im a little more interested in bolt ons, i dont want to tear down a b18c5

I totally agree with Lsos. For full build up, its just a waste of money to the R motor. If you are just looking for bolt ons, the R motor is good but only nitrous will get you to 225 HP to the ground. That goal is way to high for bolt ons.
