What will fit ... from an ODB1 Integra?

 

I though you had to use OBD2 parts for that? The B16B wasn't avalible till 1997, which makes it OBD2. I thought starters, alternators, distributors, injectors, and any other sensors had to be from an OBD2 motor?

 

They do need to be of the same OBD to be compatible with the wiring plugs, but not to actually fit and work. I would go with whatever OBD harness you are using so they plug in. Any 96-01 Integra or 99-00 Si alternator and starter (manual) will work.

 

You will need an OBDII alternator and starter. Then if you want to convert to OBDI get the jumper harness and OBDI ecu.

 

Go with the ITR alternator, may be hard to find and could even cost a leg and an arm at the dealership but do you want to settle for a B16A alternator on your Type R engine?
