HELP!! Koni Yellow adjusting questions?
i just have two quick questions...to make the ride firmer or softer does the car need to be jacked off the ground in order for the shocks to recharge (or whatever it is that they do) or can i just do it anytime?
and one more...i have the height adjustable ones too, at what perch is stock height? of course i'm sure i can tell when i'm putting them on.

IF your Koni shocks are brand new-leave the C-clips exactly where they are-that is the correct standard position. If there are only 2 grooves-the top is the standard location/if 3 grooves-the clip goes in the middle one.
To adjust a Koni-use the handle supplied with the shocks. You DO NOT have to raise the car if the shocks are the "yellow" sport series. The adjusting ****/handle fits on the flat on top-NEVER leave this tool on the shock. Trust me on this one. My method of setting Koni shocks is to drive on them at the softest setting for about 200 miles. After that you can start to stiffen them up as needed. The settings we use are generally iaround 1 turn, but you will have to find the point that you are comfortable with both on the road and track.

for normail driving i keep my front on full hard usually but i put the back on one turn less than full. with the back on full hard the ride is really harsh and your hatch will probably make alota noise.... but just try them out and adjust it as needed... theyre very simple to adjust
