Found these Red closed-end Kyokugens while back, trying to decide to get them or not:

I have the standard open end ones already, and i know that a number of people have had problems with the lugs seizing up, or breaking and what not.
Wanted to know what you guys think, seeing as how i really can't afford the Rays or Spoon lugs.
thanks
Oh i forgot, thats the correct sizing on the package for honda lug nut threads, right?

I have read alot of bad things about Kyokugens. However I have never seen a bad set yet. If you are interested I have a brand new set of 20 red anodized tuner lugs that I'll sell for $40.00 shipped. They come with a key and four anodized valve stems. They are 12mm x 1.5 thread pattern. dwnthehatch@yahoo.com

i use to use kykugens, the nuts themselfs are good, its the keys that ar low quality. If you torque the nuts right you wont have any troubles with them. I used mine for over a year is not one problem with the nuts. The thing that i didnt like was the key was a little to big for the nuts so it would sometimes get stuck on them.

I did, it was a 2-3 page thread. I`ve had a set fail and quite a few friends. Hybrid Board guy lost a pretty special wheel due to one of these needing torched off.
Just save your money and buy some tried and tested wheel locks. I would much rather my car look cool with my te-37s ON it rather it look 'JDM' without em.

While we're on the topic of lug nuts, i'm picking up a set of Euro ITR wheels. Is it okay to use tuner style nuts, or should I stick with factory lugs? TIA.

I talked to Dynamic and they told me there was an older problem with the Kyokugens keys, but since then the keys have been re-designed. Did your friends happen to test the ones with the "new keys?"
I'd be more than happy to get McGard's though. Hey man, you never are on AIM anymore or what? Cya!
