hey guys i am about to do a zc swap in a crx and the guy i am doing it for is wondering if the ecu out of a first gen integra will work since the zc is almost the same? does anyone know???? thanks again

 

the ecu will work, but it will make your car run rich. id say go with the si ecu.

 

Ths si ECU is for a single cam... I have heard many people say that the difference in performance is quite noticeabel going to a ZC ecu.

A first gen integra ECU will work, but it has to be from an 88-89. The 86-87's do not work, for a reason which I have forgot.

 

I have a ZC in my 1991 Si CRX. It runs great, and gets down the road. Use the Si Ecu.

 

i had a 89 teg ECU in my ZC .its seemed to run better ..plus you can rev it on out , that Si will cut in way early..

try both, i noticed a jump in power at 4000 RPM with my TEG ECU ..the Si did nothing
