my headlights suck. i cant see anything barley in front of my 89 crx si. i bought new hyper white bulbs thinking that might solve something,but i still cant see much. could it be my headlight shells or what? i also just scored a '90 si front lip for free!!!

 

if you blow a headlight bulb up in your car sometimes it will leave a grime on the inside of the lens. either take them apart and clean them or get some new headlights. they are cheap at a junkyard

 

i never thouht about a headlight blowing up in them before. i will take them off today after school and clean them. will bleach work ok to clean them?

 

I think I'd try warm soapy water...bleach might cloud the lense or eat the glue.

 

did you check the aim?? maybe it is way off as well

 

howdo i take off the headlights? i took my bumper and etc.. off but cant find all the screws. if it were the aim; how do i redirect it to be right?

 

To take off the headlight there are four 10mm bolts, for each headlight. Two right on top, one right underneith the corner lamp, and the last one you have to use a long extension to reach. Its underneith the headlights. If you get a flash ligh and look in there you should be able to see it pretty easy.

 

try adjusting the aim 1st...btw if you have a crx the 90 lip doesnt fit on 89 bumper

 

how do i ajust the aim. btw; the lip is from a '91 crx si and yes it does fit b'c its on my car right now.
