Default Help with b16 mods

I wanna run low 13's or 12's but i am not trying to go the turbo route. I was thinking skunk2 stage 1 cams with port and polish. pistons and rods. Then upgrading the fuel system and running 100 shot of nitrous. Also get the ecu reprog to 8600 redline and vtec at 5700. I heard the stock valves "float" at anything past 8500, and i am not trying to upgrade the valvetrain if possible so i wouldnt rev it past 8500. Besides those mods the rest would be weight transfer and hooking up like koni reds with some nice springs and drag radials.

what kind of times do u think those mods would pull and does that sound like a good setup?

These mods would be done in a 89 crx with a b16

With ITR cams, my VTEC worked best at 4000 rpm.

I went 14.80 on my setup, stock bottom end on a 2400 pound Si hatchback. In an HF CRX, it would have been 13's EASY.

1st gen B16a
ITR cams
ITR intake manifold
64mm JG throttle body
K&N filter on the TB
GReddy Exhaust w/ cat replacement pipe
Stock suspension
Field VTEC controller
Hypertech Shogun tuner

That's it. 151hp at the wheels on the dyno.
