Hey Guys....I installed the water temp gauge but I do not know how to connect the sensor to the get a reading. The water temp has a metal end sensor (looks like a metal crayon). Where do I put that...if I remove the vehicles water temp sensor and put the gauge water temp to replace it won't my check engine light come on?...so how should I put it if its not an electrical one? I have a 1994 civic coupe ex.

Now my oil pressure is not getting a reading. I installed it to the oil pressure wire by tapping into it on the harness. When I turn the car on it reads 85psi and it stays there...when i drive or when the car is warm it still stays at 85 psi...what could be wrong....let me know what you guys think....
