For sale soon: 99 EK ITR hybrid. What to ask?
This is the last thing I would have guessed could happen to me. I will probably be selling the hatch.
See reason here:

I'd just like to know what you guys think my hatch is worth.
Pics first:

This is the JDM ITR cat. The midpipe had to be shortened, and a flange need be welded on.

The car:
99 Civic hatchback DX (Amethyst pearl / purple)
Keyless entry
00 Civic Si gauge cluster and amber climate control
00 Civic Si shift ****
00 Civic Si front lip (painted black and clear coated) (not pictured)
Integra rims w/ Toyo Spectrum radials
Pioneer head unit (220$ - forgot the model)
The engine:
2000 JDM Type R complete swap, bought from inlinefour.com for 6,000$ (have reciept).
20k kilometers + 5k miles
US spec ITR axles
2000 Si engine harness (brand new)
US spec vtec solonoid/pressure switch
KENJI OBD1 conversion harness and his custom chipped P28.
AEM ITR Cold Air Intake
Tanabe Race Medalion cat back
JDM Type R cat converter
Stripped and polished valve cover
ALL proper mounts and brackets (00 Si rear tranny + drivers side bracket)
This car is immaculate. Dead serious, it's extrememly clean. I am the SECOND owner. I purchased it at 52k miles, and did the swap myself at 54,139 miles. There are NO check engine lights, and it is just as reliable as any honda. The only thing I'd like to get for it next is a B18 fuel pump..
The engine has been polished while it was out of the engine bay. The engine bay is also spotless. The interior is cleaned every damn week. I am also the only person who drives this car, no one else is allowed to touch it. I've let my ex g/f drive it a few times back when we used to give a **** about each other. (Only because she is familiar with this type of engine).
Tranny shifts "thick" there's no grinding. All fluids (tranny/engine) are changed once a month with mobil 1 5w-30 supersyn. It's runnig 10w-30 right now though. Tranny fluid is currently "GM synchromesh Friction Modified". The compression is fine, and I'd like to add that this engine burns NO oil. NONE! That's a big NOPE!
Everything else on the car is stock. It needs to be lowered, unfortunately I don't have the money right now, so that might be something the next owner needs to do.
I think the car is worth about 14,300. You might say that once a car is modified, it's never the same. Well I think that's bullshit, and you'd have a hard time finding a hybrid (especially with a NEWER Type R engine) as new and clean as this. I would be open to offers of course. I wouldn't let it go for under 13 though. I'd put it back to stock if that was the case, because I could get the majority of my money back selling the parts.
What do you lowballers think?

Honestly, I'd pay around $15k only because it is clean. People have to realize that is like buying a new car properly hooked up.
And I'd hope it wouldn't burn oil. It's a 2000 engine.

sorry to hear that man. that's a damn nice car and if i had the money i would buy it in a heartbeat. you shouldn't have any problem selling it for what you're asking.

Don't sell it!! I am sure there is a way around selling it. If nothing else works out, buy a beater and keep this car as your race car like you said you wanted to have. Whatever you decide to do, good luck
And I also hope your court situation works out in your favor. You know there are insurance companies out there that will insure you (for a high rate) no matter what your record is...just a thought...

Yup, I'm gonna have to agree. You prolly won't be able to get more than 12 for it. There is too much out there at the moment for you to get such a high price.
Like mentioned above, check out Ceas, he hasn't been able to get rid of his car yet..and look how much stuff he has done.
Good luck..and sorry to hear what happened.
edit: put it back to stock. That would be the most lucritive.

I am asking $16k for mine, which (no offence intended) has quite alot more added than yours. That being said, I am contantly recieving offers around the $13-14k range.... some lowballing down to $9k. I dont think there is any precident for a price, all you have to do is find that one person that will pay what you are asking and its sold..
ceas
ceas
i think you can pull in close to 15k so i say list it at 16k and see if you can get it
btw nice car
btw nice car
i dunno man thats kinda a lot..considering you could buy a itr for a few grand more.
then again u wouldnt have to worry about theft or anything
i would said 13k realistically...but hey you might find the right person willing to fork out the cash
hope you get what you want for it
honsetly i would not pay more that $10,000 for it. looks nice tho.
Thats some serious lowballing, I'd say 13-15,000 is fair.
Good luck

The person who comes to look at it, then offers me 10k for it, BETTER be wearing a clown suit and clown shoes, becuase that's a joke to me.
13 is the lowest I'll go. ABSOLUTE. And to tell you the truth, I don't think I'd even take 13,700..
I'll part it out and put it back to stock. That's just seriously not worth my time for an offer like that. But thanks for the compliment
