Default clutchmaster stage 1

hey,

I just installed a clutchmasters stage 1 clutch in my integra.
when I go into first gear and in reverse I kind of feel a light vibration(although I can stop this by giving my car more gas) but remember I am supposed to be taking it easy because of the break in period.
I also feel it when I am driving slow and am slowly down shifting is this
normal for high performance clutches or "is this happening only because I am still
in the break in period"?

thanks

This is normal. As you can see in my sig i have a clutch masters stage 3 and it did the same. Its something called Clutch chatter and it just does that trying to settle in the flywheel. Just break it in right, dont rush this. Dont listen to someone that says "highway miles are the same thing and you'll be fine". Man just take your time and get around 500-600 good traffic miles and you'll be happy. I waited and did it right and my friend did highway miles and now his clutch is slipping already. All i can say is do it right, or you will be back buying another clutch to be put in.... Good Luck...

Yeah I have a burly custom clutch myself, on a street car traffic isnt fun but hey you cant have everything, anyhow any kinda of performace clutch doesnt really slip until you break it in and if your clutch was like mine it wouldnt slip even if you broke it in, but the vibrations you are getting is caused from you not giving it enough gas, and your holding the clutch to long. good luck with ur clutch
