Default Small intake manifold vaccum pipe for the (brake booster) very loose.

I have a b16a manifold and the small pipe that sticks out that connects to the brake booster vaccume hose is loose. When I mean loose the pipe can be taken out very easily. You can actually spin the pipe fitting 360 deegrees with your own hand. The pipe circular fitting is not damaged at all. The intake manifold's hole where the vaccum pipe enters is not damaged either. How does that pipe hold in place by tight fitting pressure of the manifold pushing aginst the outer walls of the fitting? It does not look like it was clued or welded in place. Does honda sell this fitting by itself? If I bought another pipe fitting I am still not sure it will hold in place. I could always put silicone or jb weld but want to do it right. Has anyone experienced this? I check on another intake manifold and those pipe fittings are very firm in place. Anyone know how they are held in place any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Also I bought the intake manifold like this on the motor. Not sure why it is loose.

it has nothing to do with a hose. Its the pipe fitting on the intake manifold that is loose. The pipe fitting that I am talking about is the one that the brake booster hose is connected to. So it has nothing to do with a hose being loose. Its the actual pipe fitting itself that goes into the manifold being loose.

Yes, it should be an interferience fit. Push the tube in the the appropriate depth, then using a center punch dimple the alumunum casting around the fitting. What this does is expand the aluminum so that it holds the tude in place. If it's very loose then wipe some JB weld around the tube before inserting it into the manifold, then stake around it as stated above. Bottom line is that this fitting should be a press fit.
