I'm lookin for some stuff to dress up my CRX. I wouldn't mind a nice dash kit in carbon fiber or something like that....the only problem is the one I found is for 90-91 and I have the 88. Anyone know a site where I can get some stuff like that?

 

The only carbon fiber dash kit is out there is for 2nd gen crxs. They are trying to prototype a carbon fiber dash for 1st gen crxs. If you can make it up to NY they need a 1st get crx to protoype it in, theyll sell you the kit for half the price and you will be the first in the world to own one.

 

'88 isn't first gen, it's 2nd gen. '88-'91 are all 2nd gen, '84-'87 are all first gen.

And unfortunately, I don't know if the dash will fit or not .

 

Oh yeah my bad. here is a diagram of the kit. See if it fits your car by looking at the interrior.

If the kit looks similar i think its a safe bet it works, i will find out for sure. if not check out http://www.edashkit.com and email them. they can tell you for sure. A friend of mines works with the company, hes the one who hosts that site. All i know is that they dont make a kit for the 1st gen yet. so im guessing itll work in your car, but it is only a guess, email them to find out for sure, ill try to contact him and ill post a reply for you.
