im interested in knowing about this support bracket you made. I got kamikaze header on my b16. please let me know about this blowing gasket issue. thanx.

 

For the support bracket I ordered a 2.5" exhaust clamp from summit and then went to home depot and found a 90 degree steel bracket. drilled some holes in it and mounted it to the exhaust clamp and then to the support bracket on the car.
I've had about 3 gaskets blow out on me in the past year. Metal ones worked the best. but after a while the bolts would come loose. Support bracket helped a lot. I have pics, but I won't be able to get to them until monday.

 

Hey sorry to change the subject of your post, but im still not 100% sure of what gasket you are talking about. Can you post a picture of the gasket? Thanx.

 

The metal gasket (I think it was aluminum) can be found at Pep Boyz. THat one never blew out on me, but I did have the bolts come loose until I put the support bracket on. THe paper gaskets blow out in like 2 months regardless. Definatley go with the aluminum one, you can get them from summit too. Sorry I don't have pics of the gasket.
