You know, our sleeving price is only $200 more, but you get the sleeves and all you mentioned above, plus a warranty........

so just to install sleeves it cost $500 . I've called shops around sacramento and they quoted me 275-325 for sleeving. Why is your price so high???

Give me your number? I've got a friend who is interested in sleeving his block. I am too but not for a couple years. No money to go turbo yet.

My boy has his block honed/bored .25 over/decked/hot tanked and polished and check the crank and install the rods onto CTR pistons (heat treated, no ring lock)
and he paid like $500. they also sell him ARP head bolts for like $160
Is that paying too much? I thought so...

And then they insist to have the bottom end balanced for another 200 bucks, I
told him not to do it 'cuz its not really necessary for a B18C1 block and plus
he's not revving pass stock rev limiter 8200rpm.

then I asked the shop, how much to bore/sleeve my block to a 2.0l 84mm? They say if you bring in your own sleeves, they're charge around $900!!! I'm like okay...

Oh, and a valve job (seat the vavles, cut the vavle seat, 3-angles, install valves/springs/retainer) costs $320...
(and i had to bring in my own guides and valve seals, and they didn't put back
the rockers and lost mottion assembly...not that it matters but hey its
labor)

Rip off? No? Reasonable?
