Default Toda B/C Owners, how often do you change PE/Toda Belt?

Just wondering how often i should be changing my PE belt to ensure it does not fatigue and snap/shred on me. I currently have roughly 6000 miles on mine.

PE Belt = Power Enterprise Super Strong Timing Belt. Supposedly its 4x stronger than OEM.

its takes alot to wear a power enterprise belt, i have 20,000 miles on mine and i never even gave it any thought in when i sould replace it. based on the fact mine shows no wear after 20,000 miles, ill personaly change it after 100,000, unless i saw noticable wear... those things are no joke>

if these belts are 4x the toughness doesn't that necessarily mean they may also react or cause added resistance... meaning rob more power ?

i'd be curious to see two baselines.... a stiffer belt would require more power to turn...

Hm...i think that would only apply if the PE belt was heavier. Anyways, if there was any difference, the difference would be negligable. For the added security, i would say its definitely worth it.

they go for $150-$160, the toda timing betlt is made by power enterprise, its the same belt, the only thing is, the toda belt comes in red and had the toda power logo printed on it, the original power enterprise timing belt is blue and had the pwer logo printed on it, basicly besides from the color, there both the same belt made exactly the same by power enterprise. i believe the toda belts are the same price also, its bacialy just a choice between red or blue...
