Manual IAB activation?
the IAB system is not a very complex one. i was thinking for the b18c1 owners running p28 ecu's, if you use an msd rpm switch to power the vacuum solenoid at 5700 to switch over to the short runners.

What would be the advantage of doing that? The whole reason for the duel stage intake runners is for better low end torque. Long intake runners=more low end torque...short runners=more high end torque. Honda engineers aren't stupid, there's a reason for everything...that's why they make the big bucks. The dual stage setup is nice , but if you're always going into vtec then I guess you can just change out the manifold for a single stage type to extract more high end power. I guess you can also just leave a dummy load on the solenoid wiring or somethin so the ecu doesn't throw an error code.
Just disabling/modifying the system would be a waste because of the manifold design.
