Default d16a1 in a first gen???

ok i know what i need to do but have a problem the teg trans seems pretty bad makes some funny sounds when i move the shifter in the teg....question is can i use the crx si trans?

nope... your talking about the old teg zc motors right, the ones like 87-89 or whatever they were.

those have a different imput shaft, have to use that tranny with that motor. . . only ef model zc motors can go with ef model d-series trannys as long as you dont go to the difference between 88-89 and 90-91 then you have to change flywheels,clutch, and i think different bearings also

not a zc d16a1 isnt a zc but yeh i heard already that i cant use it on the other hand i got it started today in the teg and it runs good
