painting stock RSX headlights????
my buddy got an rsx a few months ago and saw some pics of the R and said he wanted a set of black housing lights.....now me and my best friend painted his 99 si headlamps before....is it the same way on an RSX? bake em seperate em and goto town? also are there any knock off type r lips for it? not 400 bucks?
I am not sure if you want to paint your friends headlights black just to get the jdm look. Alot of people in http://www.clubrsx.com have painted thiers and there have been a few problems with it if you make one mistake. I have even heard of the paint flaking off due to the heat. Just look around, you can find a real set of jdm headlights for around 450-500 hundred dollars.
As for the lip clubrsx sells a knock off of the lip and the real thing as well for less then the real one cost. I myself am getting a carbon fiber jdm lip for my S. Well good luck.

actually he knows nothing about the jdm "look" he just liked the car and got it....never had a problem with the paint flaking and shouldnt if done right and with high temp paint it shouldnt be a problem...like i said my friends 99 si has never had a problem and for 395 bucks less than buying jdm lights.....and thanx for the link ill check it out and send it to him....
As I said I read on the clubrsx forums of some problems occuring from paint the head lights. Just go to the clubrsx forums and do a search for paint head lights and be prepared to be flooded with links. Good luck.
