Compression is 190,206,210,210 1-4 Cyl.

is it normal to vary that much between cyl. ?

 

Cyl 1 is a TAD low.. but yes... good rule of thumb , I think is 10-20% from high to low.

Burns, leaks, or uses NO OIL between changes.

I was told that 180's are good for a B16.

 

how many miles on the motor??

 

good question. No way to tell. I was told by my importer that anywhere between 30-50K. Thats why compression numbers are given.. they are the only way to tell the condition of the motor.

All the wear items have been replaced anyway... the engine burns no oil, blows no smoke, and has no cooling problems...

all those are the signs of a strong motor .
