Okay suppoesedly the ZC we have over here is the 88-89 Integra right? So I know that the head on the Itegra is DOHC non-vtec can I swap the heads? Some guy told me to either swap the head with a 88-89 integra or with a D16Z6. Which do you think will produce more power? And can both be done?

 

I got a zc out of a crx myself DOHC ZC with pm7!!! but you want to swap a SOHC onto A DOHC motor? Am I reading that right? If so it's not possible.

 

what we have here are not zc's they are d16a1's. They have diff. mounts and cannot be swapped in. And no the a1 dohc head cannot be swapped to a d-series sohc block. Ya dig? But d-series sohc vtec heads(z6/y8) can be swapped to d-series sohc blocks.

 

Okay the 88-89 Integra D16A3 head CANNOT be swapped onto a SOHC ZC? But the D16Z6 can. I was just wondering because the Integra motor is a D seris motor.

 

you cann't interchange any parts on a zc like the head.
