had a cust. phone me yesterday, he's loking for a cam for his 93 civ. si with a sohc v tec... Just curious if this was a auctual eng or if he was mistakin. He was uite sure that it was, i just never heard of it before, he also said they came in 1.5 and 1.6 sohc v tec, sounds more like d eseries to me but havn't seen yet. Can anyone fill me in...i'm gonna try to get the eng code from him just to check it. Thanks

 

sohc vtecs do exist, they are either a D16z6 or D16y7. there might be some more codes out there, never looked into the single cam route. i know a lot of people who have good luck with the skunk2 cam, zex, or bullfrog cam.

 

d15b & I think that the y8 is vtec as well.
