Default How can i tell them apart?

Ok be patient with me

what are the exterior differences between teggys? (GS,RS,LS,GSR) I already know how to tell the differences between a TypeR and a non TypeR, but i cant seem to figure out the ones mentioned above without having to look at the tach or under the hood.

thanx

Ok, i'm sure someone is gonna follow my reply with a "do a search!" reply but i'll answer to some extent for ya.

you missed a trim by the way, Special Edition(SE)

RS/LS/SE/GS all share the same non-vtec b18b1 motor
GSR has a vtec b18c1 motor

From the factory(not dealership) these models come this way:
-RS is the base model which has no sunroof, no power doorlocks, no ABS, no wing, no rims. And had a 3rd brakelight in the glass of the hatch

-LS (and i believe SE) had sunroof, power doorlocks & ABS. some with rims, some without, No wing. And had a 3rd brakelight in the glass of the hatch (Special edition had small grey sticker saying "Special Edition" under passenger taillamp)

-GS had sunroof, power doorlocks, ABS, GSR rims, GSR wing w/LED, and NO 3rd brakelight in hatch glass

-GSR had sunroof, powerdoorlocks, ABS, GSR Rims, GSR wing w/LED, and NO 3rd brakelight in hatch glass. Had a grey sticker that said "dohc vtec" under the passenger rear taillamp.
After certain year, came standard with leather interior.

I think this is all correct to the best of my recollection.

Most of that is correct, in a general sense....you have to remember that all of the models have options and depending on what people want depends on what the car comes with.

One more addition: GS-R's have always come with the side moldings and mirrors painted, while GS/RS/LS did not untill a certain year (98 I believe, not positive though). So if you see an Integra with black moldings and black mirrors... it's not a GS-R

some revisions to the above:
- RS always had unpainted mirrors and side mouldings..
- LS had only unpainted side mouldings until 96..
- SE (USDM) was the same exact thing as the GS, until they started calling it the GS again (not sure on the year)..
- mirrors were changed on all tegs in 96 (instead of being smooth on the back, they added an edge)..
