tore my wings west lip...u think this will fix it ...
i have a wings west vented lip for my teg and i ripped it...i bought sum sheet metal at a hard ware store and decided to make a custom metal chin support for it...heres a "professional" sketch of the crack and the plates...any input would be great...and yes i know i draw like a 2 yera old [maybe even worse] but atleast u get the damn point! lol thanks for your input!
did u draw that with your feet? anyways i think sheet metal would probley work, what u do to crack it i mean the lip is made of polyuraBlah!(cant spell).
You've got VanGogh beat
why don't you try to get some fiberglass resin and fix it and repaint it? Or maybe some bondo? From that picture it is somewhat hard to tell if there will be enough area to mount those sheetmetal braces without them being noticeable...do you have underside pictures of the lip, that way I could see if there was enough area to hold it together from underneath...And again, your picture is a pure work of art

lol thanks everyone i already tried out the sheet metal and it fits but i made a design outta it kinda like a splitter and its being painted black at my dads body shop...we repaired the crack but nothing seems to be strong enough to hold it together ive tried epoxy glue and now im using a professional strength epoxy type of glue by duramix my dad gave me and it seems to hold up pretty well...im gonna primer it and attach the splitters and see how well it holds up! thanks everyone for your help...
