When did Acura change the HVAC vents?

When did Acura change the HVAC vents?

I noticed that the ***** on the HVAC vents are different on some integras. Some are smooth while others have horizontal lines on them. I assume that it would be 98' since that was a refreshened year.

hmm, all I know is they are a bit*h to move- my g/f can't adjust the heat from hot to cold. i have a 98 and pretty sure it is solid

All I know is that the older ones are solid, newer are not. My 94 is smooth.
