The Difference between Stock Side Skirts and Oem Bodykit Sideskirts
Does anyone know what the differences are. To me they look the same, except for the little thing in the back. But as far as height and width, arent they the same?
I've got OEM sideskirts on my car, and, they make the car look slightly lower. They don't stick out. It looks just like the black stock panels underneath your car, but, towards the back wheels, it comes up slightly over your car. Its difficult to explain, but, trust me when I tell you that it looks very nice!
They ARE wider than stock sills, so they do extend out farther from the body along the entire length.... They are flared downwards towards the front and rear, and of course the upper angle on the rear portion. Subtle, but VERY nice. Get 'em while they're discounted and still available.
well...i think that the stock skirts are plastic and not good for painting. the bodykit ones might be polyurethane but they do look slightly different as everyone else has been saying.
