Default JimFab X-Members?

first off, im not saying that these are bad or anything BUT i bought one for my 91 hatch w/ b16a and HASport Mounts with a DC 4-1 header and i CANNOT get my crossmember(jimfab) to fit, it hits off of the header. it is like an inch off of the hole marks. has anyone else ever had this problem with the jimfab ones? like i thought those were suppose to give you alot of clearance?

another situation - we also got one for my friends 94 coupe w/ ls/vtec and it hits the radiator petcock? it just rubs right on the crossmember. i just dont get it. is anyone else having problems with jimfab? thanks-

eMail jimfab first and tell them whats up. Has your car ever been in an accident. Maybe your frame is just not straight.

My crossmember was of excelent quality and fit perfect on my 88 std hatch with b16a swap and a jdm 4-1 header and I still had plenty of room. Also when I took the car out with it on it which I just got running, there was no wheel hop once so ever. Honestly I couldnt tell if my clutch was slipping or tires were spinning so I went in and had my dad watch and he said the tires were spinning like none other so yes this thing works....talk to the owner...he is really cool and Im sure he will work with you to figure out the problem

since you car is on jackstands or up in the air your suspention will be out of alignment so u will have to move it all around to get it to line up... They fit money.. also if your car has frame damage its not going to fit well

Put the car on the ground and try to install it. If it still doesnt line up. Contact JIMFAB for more info. Maybe you just got sent the wrong kit or need more help. A shop im sure could help you out to. For a little $$$
