Default The not so cool F22a1......

whats up guys i'm haveing some issues with my not so fast 5G lx motor.
i keep reading about all these boosted F22b1s but nothing for the non-V folk.
yea i know what your gonna say befor you say it "GET AN H22 OR F22B1" and thats my point i want to if i go H22 it'll be all moto but if i go F22b1 i wanna boost it.
i'm guessing that the F22b1 is cheaper and thats the path i wanna take so i can tweek that moto and save for the turbo. i looked at hmotorsonline no f22b1s. i don't know where to look for one. any opinions or help would be cool if you wanna flame me to that fine to. i can't really do much els to my car its almost the way i want it just not as fast. i'll go ahead and list my set up so you can see where i'm at so far.

97 accord lx.
17' konig sub zeros on falkkens
skunk2 coilovers
totally gutted inside two seats one for me and one for my girl that hates cars
vis carbon fiber hood
greddy evo cat back
air fuel guage (i know there crap but you can't beat free right) nos pressure
nos 10lb 50 dry shot
alpine cd player
factory spks
and a viper 550 esp

i know thoes last things are pointless to list as it has no direct affect on my problem.

you'll notice there are non moto modds cuaz i don't know whats gonna fit on the f22b1 probly most major bolt ons but i just wanna be shur. but thats every thing so i someone could just give me a little scoot in the right direction that would rock thanks guys.

Mind you, the F22B1 swap will not be a significant upgrade in itself. The higher torque is attractive, though. But you will have to go through pretty much all the steps needed to swap H22.
You need a new ECU, wiring, relocate a few sensors, ie o2 sensor, and a few other things I'm not too familiar with so I won't risk myself further on this.

Of course, swapping an H22 is not all that original anymore, and going the boostway on an f22b1 will give you more power cheaper. take a look if you have the chance at what Niedejb has done so far with his F22B1. Shows you the potential in this engine.
