Front brakes making nose when stopping
My front brakes on my 94 Integra are making noise when stopping. Not the type of noise where the brake pads are low, but kind of like "blow air" noise. I checked the brakes and they still have plent of pad life left. Caliper and rotor looks ok.....
I have two ripped outer cv boots, one on both side, will this lead to the noise? Brakes fine, doesn't shake or anything when coming to a stop.

It only makes that noise when I am coming to a stop. Might be the rotors but it doesn't shake or anything when I stop plus I had the shop machine them when I had new brake pads installed about a year ago.
does it make the noise when you COAST to a stop? This will tell you brakes or boots.
Try changing the pads to a softer material and the noise should go away.

I had a problem before with the peice of metal that surrounds the bottom half of the rotor or whatever part of the rotor area.
But anyway, somehow the peice of metal bend onto my rotor and make annoying noises.. So make sure everything is secure under there.
