Trade T3/manifold/downpipe for greddy turbo/manny/dp
I've been thinking about trading my T3 and all related parts for a standard Greddy kit turbo. What I have is a partially polished .42, .44A/R Garret T3 that has been rebuilt (no appreciable shaft-play) which is mated to a Greddy Manifold that has had a new plate welded onto it to accept the T3 bolt pattern and is also tapped for an EGT probe. This would also include the 2.5inch downpipe with a flex section. The turbo is oil-cooled, only, and has had a bit of the compressor housing ground off for clearance issues, but you can't see it when it's on the car. The oil return plate is also pretty ugly, but you can't see that either.
I'm interested in doing this for autocross, so I can get a faster spool-up, even if it's not as much peak power. The downpipe I have will not let you keep your A/C compressor in the stock location, but there's a slim chance in hell you could make a different bracket or something since you don't have to remove the core or fan...everything is in very good working order.
I realize this is kinda weird, but I'm poor and don't want to buy one and then sell mine
If anyone is interested, lemme know.
