hi i was in my local muffler shop the other day and was looking at some mufflers.. i have a 91 dx hatch and im going cat back. the muffler that really caught my eye was a magnaflow (cannon) style muffler that was 4 inch with a slanted cut tip... does anyone know how this will sound? thanx ps i want a deeper sound.. just nothing to ricey..

 

unless you are boosting a 4in pipe will make you car sound really baugy...

 

hey one of my good friends lives in burlington... cool place. anyway i think he means the tip is a 4" slant cut. 2 of my friends have a magnaflow setups on their cars, one is a 92 civic cx and the other is a 94 gsr. they sound good, although w/o a cat they are very loud, it is a nice muffler but being a straight through design makes for some noise. hth
