i wanna see some pics of the car with a mugen wing, i want to see the whole car if possible, profile shot, from the side, looking from the front to the back, etc.

OT for GirlNALude: How's the SC holding up? You still gonna swap the tranny?

And the Mugen piece is the ONLY wing that I would ever even consider putting on my ride.

 

 

how do you like your blower? not a lot of power on the top end?

 

The charger is holding up pretty good, I need to have the boost belt changed, it stretched pretty bad. The auto tranny is ridiculous, it started falling apart pretty quick, but I've had the charger on for nearly a year (though I drove it very little) so its on its deathbed...I just need it to hold on a little longer while all my parts come in together for the swap. The tranny is held up at customs, all my odds and ends are pretty much good to go. There is good power in high end, but the power is made to be more noticeable mid end which is where i see and feel the gains more anyway.

 

Jesus!!! I think that I have saved every picture of your car that I have ever found.

Your car is the only 5th Gen Lude that I've ever seen with the full Mugen body kit AND the MF10 Mirror-face rims! If I were to ever buy a body kit and rims, your Mugen setup is the only one I would get!!

Must...resist...desire...to send King Motorsports... more money!!! Must focus...all go, no show... All go, no show!

Beautiful car! If you ever think about getting rid of your kit & rims I'd be interested! At least the rims, the kit I would have to repaint pearl white!

Are these pics of genuine Mugen wings? I love the way they look, but im not up to shelling out that much cash for a part that won't make my car any faster. How do people feel about the replicas? Which ones are the best?

 

shieeetttt... if i get one, i am DEFINATELY getting a replica, IMO, real mugen body parts like that are just another form of rice.

C'mon dude, you lost me there. I can understand getting the replica because of the price, but 'cause it's "rice"? Please. If Mugen **** is rice, then what are APC parts?!? How about the average WW kit that makes the 5th gen look like a damn ICBM, what are those? This whole new "JDM is rice" mentality IMO is ridiculous.

Mugen stuff is quality, the fit/finish is immaculate, and their bodykits are actually wind tunnel tested (the only company that actually does this extensively 'cause it's so ******* expensive) to be functional, although granted it may only be at high speeds. It's like those fake twin loop exhausts that are out there, yeah you'll get the look, but not the matching results/quality/workmanship that goes with it, so what's the real point?

I believe in go before show also, but when buying parts, any parts, you do usually get exactly what you pay for. So ante up. If you want to buy a Bugen kit instead of a Mugen kit 'cause the Mugen is too pricey, hey it's your money, it's your choice, it's your car, it's your perogative, go ahead. But please don't tell me it's because it's "rice".

Once again (GirlNALude), the car is tiiiiight, both of them. Anyway, my rant is over. Flame on.

Do you really see no difference between a urethane kit that will bolt up dead-nuts to your car and a fiberglass kit that will take some massaging to make fit?
