seatbelt buzzer
my seatbealt buzzer keeps going off everytime the passenger seatbelt is d/c even when noone is sitting there. it bugs me when i'm sitting in traffic. anyone know where the buzzer is so i can d/c it and use it to wire up a buzzer for my headlights.thanks
I just removed mine tonite.
Just take off the plastic covering under your rearview mirror. Where the little arm that holds it is going to be more specific.
Remove those 3 big screws.
You'll see a connector, disconnect it.
Problem solved! It's so annoying isn't it

mines coming off as soon as i get my car back----why is it only the passenger side???????
Good question! I guess Honda doesn't care if the driver dies, they only care about passengers
umm in mine i just took out the clip going to the part that holds the belt in by the seat...you will see a little clip going to it...just disconnect it...haha my friends new celica knows when someone is sitting in the passenger seat so when someone is sitting in it with no seatbelt it goes off...but when no1 is in the seat it doesnt...i know pointless info but i thought it was pretty cool

that cover is extremely junkyard retrievable--at least round' these parts.
oh man I have the same prob, I checked the wiring schematic and couldn't pull the fuse 'cause the dome light, oil pressure light and some other stuff share it.

As far as only going off for the passenger.... It's the drivers responsibility to make sure everyone's wearing their belts, the buzzer let's the driver know that the pass unbuckled thiers. I don't think the driver needs a buzzer to let him know that he unhooked his own belt, I think he'll notice that himself.
Another thing to remember about the setup... the front seatbelts on the 90-91's are designed to never be unhooked. that's why they're in the doors, so you can get in and out without disconecting them. Maybee that has something to do with why they wired things the way they did.
