Sorry if this is off-topic. I figured you guys would know. I'm trying to figure out how much a set of used (40k???) CTR(ITR) valve springs and retainers are worth.

what happened:
I sent my head to Alaniz, bought new springs and retainers from them, and they threw away my old ones (I was expecting them back). Joe wants to make it right, but I need to know what a realistic number to give him is. I'm not trying to get over on him so fair numbers would be appreciated.

$100 to $125 for just the springs. $150 is pretty fair for the springs and retainers.

Steve probably sees so much of that stuff that he uses the springs as door stops and the retainers for paper weights.

me too and it looks really nice. cost me an arm and a leg tho.. they are nice people. my head was supposed to take about 5-8 business days. but he called and told me they were a bit behind.. i told him no prob and he hooked me up with some extra peices.. (dont know if it was a hook up, maybe they came with the package) to Alaniz Tech.
