replacing the 13" alloys on my '88 civic hatrch with 14" from crx SI; need new tires?
obviously the bolt pattern is the same and the rims can be put on the civic; but is the wheel well clearance different between the two cars? in other words, if i buy a set of 14" wheels/tires from a 4th gen crx SI (i really love the stock rims), will the tires be too large or are they just lower profile? the wheels on my civic are 13"x4.5", i believe the crx SI wheels are 14"x5".
thanks guys. that said, if anyone is SELLING their stock crx SI alloys/tires lemme know, just in case (a friend is trying to decide whether to replace his and sell me the stock rims, but this may not happen).

yeah, does anyone know if the DX models came with 14" rims? it only makes sense that the wheel wells on the crx and the civics are the same, but with my luck i'd buy them/put them on the car and not be able to turn.
i just don't want 13" square alloys, they are the ugliest things ever. wish i had a digital camera so everyone could share in my horror.

it's all the same (wheel well wise) and yes a 14" rim would have a slightly lower profile tire than a 13"
